Clara Benin created an evening filled with warmth, love, and emotional honesty during her ‘really got me thinking: a live show’ last May 16 at Teatrino in Greenhills.

Opening the night was The Ridleys, who immediately set the tone with heartfelt performances of their hit tracks ‘Aphrodite,’ ‘Running Out of Songs,’ ‘Love Is,’ and ‘Be With You.’ Their dreamy and romantic sound perfectly prepared the audience for a night centered on love and reflection.

When Clara Benin finally stepped onto the stage, the crowd welcomed her with overwhelming excitement. She opened her set strongly with ‘the one to blame’ from her latest EP, followed by ‘you around’ and ‘cinnamon coffee.’ Her vocals instantly transformed the venue into a comforting and intimate space, making everyone feel connected to the music.

She continued the evening with some of her well-loved classics, including ‘small town,’ ‘Wine,’ and the beloved Filipino hit ‘Araw’t Gabi.’ Backed by soothing melodies, Clara effortlessly serenaded the audience, reminding everyone why her music resonates so deeply with fans.

One of the highlights of the night came when she performed a cover of John Mayer’s ‘You’re Gonna Live Forever In Me.’ Clara’s emotional rendition filled the Teatrino with warmth.

For her final set, Clara showcased the emotional depth and versatility of her discography through performances of ‘tahanan,’ ‘I Rose Up Slowly,’ and her newest dreamlike anthem ‘wings.’ Each song carried its own story that took everyone through different feelings of longing, healing, and hope.

But the night was far from over. As fans loudly called for an encore, Clara performed two more songs — ‘blink’ and ‘OMW (Back Home).’ The final moments of the show ended on a serene note, leaving the audience wrapped in the same warmth and sincerity that defined the entire evening.

The live show perfectly captured who Clara Benin is as an artist — honest, heartfelt, and deeply connected through music. Through every lyric and melody, she shared pieces of her heart, creating a memorable night that fans will surely carry with them long after the final song.

Thank you, Clara Benin, for another beautiful night of music. We can’t wait to hear your lovely voice serenade us again.
