What do you do when your partner is trying to overpower you? Where do you go to find hosting gigs? Can I be a successful host without a claim to fame? These are some of the topics that were discussed in "The Afternoon Rush" a workshop by the Ateneo Association for Communications Technology Management (Ateneo ACTM) last January 22.
The Morning Rush hosts Chico Garcia, Hazel Aguilon, and Markki Stroemm shared their own experiences as hosts over the years.
Chico Garcia shared how he handled difficult situations while on air. He even told stories from when he was still a rookie jock. Of course in a very Chico way; funny, witty, and very informative.
Hazel Aguilon narrated how she transitioned from being a sportscaster to a radio jock. She also shared how to handle the most common and cringey mistakes on cam and on air.
Markki Stroemm (theatrically) tackled hosting for different events and different platforms. Being a host and a performer, he shared with the group how to use your skills to get more gigs. YAS!
