You all know him as Pablo, the leader of the prominent P-Pop group SB19, but beyond that, he also has another persona to him - ½ of the duo RADKIDZ. The duo comprise of SB19’s Pablo and Josue, a genius producer who was also behind the viral SB19 hit ‘Gento’! These two prove not only to be creative and talented music makers but are also tight-knit brothers. We got to know more about these two and their music on Good Vibes with Nikki!

Now everyone is very much aware that Pablo and Josue aka the Nase Brothers are from the same bloodline and grew up together, these two are now also collaborating together! “‘Yun po ‘yung pinaka-easiest thing when it comes to producing, yung maka-work yung kapatid mo.” Pablo exclaims. The comfort and familiarity with one another really helped the brothers up their teamwork when it came to making and producing music. “Walang challenge, kumbaga mas napapadali pa kasi dalawang utak na yung gumagawa, so mas madali siya.” Josue added. The brothers started working together during the pandemic out of boredom, playing around with music until their single ‘Akala’ was made to fruition! 

Their track ‘Akala’ was just recently released but it has been on the backburner since the pandemic. Pablo confirmed that the song was uploaded but not yet officially released until recently. He also shared that ‘Akala’ was on a different route than what he and his brother are used to in terms of spitting bars and delivering lines — from an aggressive, angsty tone to a more chill and dreamy vibe with ‘Akala’. 

Now that Pablo is exploring music more outside than his comfort zone, he went raw and real about what he feels as a group member and being a soloist. “Being part of a group is hard, but being a soloist is harder.” Due to his perfectionist nature, Pablo mentions that he does have tendencies to be hard on himself especially when he isn’t fully satisfied with his own work, compared to when he’s in a group when compromisation, adjustment, and teamwork are innate.”Hindi mo pweden i-impose kung ano ‘yung belief or ‘yung way mo. Kailangan ba-balansehen mo. ‘Yun naman po ‘yung maganda natutunan ko sa grupo. Pero pag dating po sa solo, kapag panget, panget! Kapag ‘di maganda, ‘di maganda! Ulit!”

Besides their brainchild ‘Akala’, the duo also released another track titled ‘Determinado’. Josue shares how the track started and it originated from a beat that he has made in the past. He also mentioned how his beats or instrumentals have titles and one of them is, you guessed it, titled ‘Determinado.’ Pablo then wrote a hook for ‘Determinado’ sent it to Josue and the latter eventually wrote lyrics for the song. Pablo shared that this track was one of their creations that they finished in a heartbeat. It was a moment of epiphany where both of them were left satisfied with the music they made wherein it immediately became the final product! The dynamic between these two is so solid and brilliant!

The year has just started but things are already looking great for the brothers! Pablo has promised himself that he will release a full solo album after 5 years of being in the industry and more plans that he couldn’t reveal yet. Solo fans of the artist and A’TINs should definitely look forward to what more Pablo would bring to the table! As for Josue, let’s expect more fire beats and amazing tracks to come onto music platforms.
