This Valentine’s season, Boyce Avenue visited the Philippines after three years. The acoustic cover band performed several of their hits at Araneta Coliseum last February 11.
Before the band of three stepped out on stage, front acts Nobita, The Juans, and Adie performed soulful songs that tugged many of the audience’s heartstrings. Opening the show was the pop-rock band NOBITA, which filled the Big Dome with beautiful blends of vocals and nostalgic tunes.
Following that sentimental set was The Juans, who also sang for those experiencing the negative sides of love. Their set was raw and real, and we’re sure the audience couldn’t relate more.
The last one on stage before Boyce Avenue was rising singer-songwriter Adie, who sang his well-loved hits that gave those kilig vibes to the audience, even having the crowd sing along to his songs! These front acts were the perfect opener as they took the audience on a rollercoaster of love-filled emotions.
Boyce Avenue filled their set with original songs and covers of classic songs and new hits. Among these were the renditions of ‘Every Breath You Take,’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love,’ while also adding their take to ‘Blinding Lights’ and ‘Easy On Me’. Songs from Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and more were also heard throughout the arena. The three-piece band gave their Filipino fans a special night and encapsulated what love feels like. It was certainly a night to remember and we have to thank Boyce Avenue for that!
