K-Pop group THE BOYZ stole the hearts of Filo Deobis as they returned to the Philippines for the Manila stop of their “ZENERATION II” world tour! We got a chance to witness Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Haknyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric tear up the stage, and it’s safe to say we left the venue as certified Deobis.

Held last August 25, the excitement was palpable in the SM Mall of Asia Arena as the Heart Bbyong Bong - holding crowd screamed their hearts out to THE BOYZ’ performance of their hit songs ‘Maverick,’ ‘REVEAL,’ ‘The Stealer,’ ‘WATCH IT,’ ’THRILL RIDE,’ and more! Aside from their powerful dance moves, they also made sure to show off their impressive vocals with tracks such as ‘Walkin’ In Time’ and ‘Horizon.’ 

Throughout the show, the special connection of THE BOYZ with their FIlipino fans was clear. The members’ ments incorporated Pinoy phrases outside of the usual “Mahal kita” (Kevin’s “Eyy ka muna eyy”  and Juyeon’s “Wag kayo tumingin sa iba, sa akin lang” were our faves), Eric called the Philippines his “hometown,” Jacob sang a snippet of Zack Tabudlo’s ‘Binibini,’ and the boys recounted their memories of filming the ‘Lipgloss’ music video in Siargao. Meanwhile, Filo Deobs prepared a special fan project for their favorite group, which included banners that said “Our beloved THE BOYZ, let's meet in every universe!” It was so heart-warming to see it all!

To wrap up the show, THE BOYZ performed ‘Nectar’ and ‘Fire Eyes’ for the encore and promised to return soon. “We will do what we do and show you guys better music and [a] better stage. You guys mean the world to [us], so don't forget that. We will be back, Manila," Eric said.
