Hey! We're you at the #LauvMNL2019 last night? cause if you were then you're probably like me rn, losing sleep over the epic show of heart, and vocals, and pastel!

Lauv gave his Filipino fans the most genuine show anyone can ever ask for. He was candid, he was gushing, and he was performing like he's drunk eight cups of strong coffee before hitting the stage (so much energy!) 

The American synth-pop singer addressed the arena half-burying his face in disbelief or awe (I'm not sure, Im not Lauv he he), "this is officially the biggest headline show I've ever played!"

To start the show, Lauv performed his latest single "Drugs & The Internet" oh shit! followed by fan favorite "Paris in The Rain."

As the crowd warms up, Lauv surprised everyone by popping outta nowhere (by nowhere I mean at the back of the arena) to perform on a platform smacked right in the middle of the crowd, so intensely close to his fans. He sang "Story Never Ends" and "Sad Forever," a song he said he wrote in the plane ride OTW to Manila.

He also shot videos of the crowd, while he performed, to include it to the music video. BRB just crying over being in Lauv's MV!

The rest of the show was an emotional journey. He played over 20 songs including two encore tracks and a cover of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's "I Don't Care."

I was totally bumming out when the show was coming to its end and he still didn't sing "Never Not." I expected him to perform "I Like Me Better" for the encore but he sang the song I've been waiting for the whole night (if I'm being honest I've been waiting for it my whole life ha ha)

Before his last song, he took off his shirt, YES! (he was wearing an official tour merch) he signed it, and then tossed it to the crowd. I'm not lucky enough (and strong enough) so I didn't get it, but totally happy for the guy who caught it. If I were him, I ain't gonna wash that -- preserve Lauv's sweat and tears forever.

SO to Lauv's front act, bulow! Her music is delightfully pop and relatable and dark! LOL. My fave bops are "Two Punks in Love," "You & Jennifer," and "Get Stupid." Believe me, you'll enjoy them.
