British-Chinese siblings Olivia Hardy & William Gao of Wasia Project held their intimate piano show for a one-night heavenly music experience, launching their first stop in Manila for their Asia Tour.

The ‘Wasia Project Piano Shows’ toured from June to July of 2026, marking notable stops in Manila, Sydney, and Berlin. The London-based duo played in Teatrino Promenade in San Juan last June 23. The stripped-back show garnered admiration from Filipino fans, who were especially excited to see their favorite musicians perform live.

The show featured a black-box stage set up – relaxed. Almost as if the heart of the show was the ability of Wasia Project’s music to pull you into emotions, stories, and memories all coiled in one stage.

‘Heavenly,’ as the fans would describe it. Olivia Hardy’s voice was the perfect texture to the tune of the piano. Every note was precise; each moment felt. A good listen to Wasia Project’s music was enough to feel every uncharted emotion your concert bag carried in the venue.

Wasia Project played strongly for the first song with ‘2515’ as the song choice. The song talks about the complexities of a modern relationship – toxic and repetitive. Like a cycle anyone couldn’t break, Wasia Project easily clothed the room in feels. The sibling duo explored an angry, futuristic soundscape from their older piano ballads with ‘2515,’ a fitting introductory track that well represented Wasia Project’s heritage, blending smooth genres and influences.

Wasia Project’s William Gao, known for his debut role in Heartstopper as Tao Xu, attracted a ‘Heartstopper Effect,’ which fans associate with the British-Chinese duo’s ballad yearning track, ‘ur so pretty.’ Written by William Gao, describing the feeling of first love, first heard in the Netflix series’ second season.

Thank you, Wasia Project, for bringing a heavenly, heart-stopping music experience written in tunes and felt in words – an experience beautifully written in the books.
