Grammy-winning indie alt/rock artist St. Vincent took to the Filinvest Tent stage and filled the area with euphoric vibrations, sensory music, and equal amounts of angst and seductive tunes last January 8.
Despite starting an hour late into her show (due to the venue’s technical difficulties), St. Vincent came out with a bang and took the crowd into a trance of angsty, melodic rock. The show started with ‘Reckless,’ ‘Fear The Future,’ ‘Los Ageless,’ and ‘Big Time Nothing’ from her albums ‘All Born Screaming’ and ‘MASSEDUCTION’. It was a magnetic start to the show, with St. Vincent expressing her emotions in her true rockstar form! The crowd was ecstatic to sway and bang their heads to every beat.
As the night deepened, the music got more intense with unmatched adoring energy from the crowd, and more tracks from her albums ‘Strange Mercy,’ ‘Daddy’s Home,’ and a single song from ‘Actor’ played on. St. Vincent is a true artist in all forms; from the way she exudes charisma and confidence in her performance, to her powerful, roaring vocals, to her exquisite talent in shredding guitar chords, to serving a genuine fan service by holding their hands, signing vinyls and singing with the crowd. It was seen how the Grammy-winning artist was having the time of her life!
It was truly a show of passionate energy, nostalgia-filled moments and a night we won’t forget, all thanks to the presence and mind-blowing music of St. Vincent! Thanks to Karpos Live.
