Ben&Ben brought warmth and soul to the room during a special relaunch press conference held last June 30 at the 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, which Liwanags will look forward to in the coming months.

The band opened the event with heartfelt performances of ‘Paninindigan Kita,’ ‘Autumn,’ and their latest single, ‘Saranggola.’ The nine-piece folk-pop band immediately set the tone for a night of excitement.

The first major announcement was the addition of new dates to their ‘The Traveller Across Dimensions Tour.’ Following a successful first leg, Ben&Ben will bring their music to other parts of the Philippines with new shows in Bacolod, Baguio City, and Davao City this August. Before that, the band is set to take the stage for a one-night-only show in Lincoln, California on July 12.
Alongside tour updates, the band proudly shared the renewal of their partnership with Sony Music Philippines. Known for their emotionally driven sound, Ben&Ben emphasized how deeply aligned their vision and heart are with the label. With this continued collaboration, fans can expect more heartfelt stories and adventures from the band.

The band also gave an update on drummer Jam Villanueva, who is currently recovering from De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis and the Drummer’s Wrist in her left hand. Despite the setback, Jam shared hope in her improving condition and willingness to patiently heal. She expressed gratitude towards the team and their support for her recovery.
In the meantime, Eo Marcos of Kjwan will temporarily fill in on the upcoming shows, including the U.S. performance and Philippine tour dates.

Adding to the excitement, Ben&Ben revealed that a concert film is already in the works, aiming to be released later this year. They hope to create a visual and unique experience that mirrors the soul of their album and tells the story they’ve always wanted to share.

Known for crafting “friendship music,” Ben&Ben also shared their evolving artistic direction. Inspired by the different dimensions of life — Energy (challenges), Light (learnings), and Feel (past experiences) — they hope to explore themes that resonate more deeply and universally with everyone. “Right now, we’re in the Energy dimension,” they shared, hinting at the current trials they’re facing. But as always, they remain rooted in hope, growth, and their strong relationship with each other and their fans.

As Ben&Ben continues to navigate their journey — with all its twists, turns, and triumphs — one thing is certain: the light they bring to their music and their Liwanags continues to shine brighter than ever.
