OPM pop-rock powerhouse IV OF SPADES marked their iconic return with a two-night solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last December 12 and 13. After years of anticipation, the Spaders finally witnessed the comeback they had been waiting for — one that felt like the ultimate plot twist of the year.

As the lights dimmed, loud cheers filled the arena. Zild, Unique, Blaster, and Badjao step up to the stage and set the tone for the night with “Monster,” followed by their recent release, “Nanaman.” The arena went wild once more as the band surprised fans with an old-but-gold favorite, the groovy “Hey Barbara,” instantly bringing everyone back to the early days of IV OF SPADES.

The mood then shifted as the band performed tracks from their comeback album, ‘Andalucia.’ ‘Paru-Paro,’ ‘Kabisado,’ and ‘Konsensya’ created a slow, serene atmosphere, allowing the audience to fully take in their emotions.
One of the most unexpected moments of the night came when IV OF SPADES moved to the back of the arena to host a mini Tekken 8 tournament. The entire venue was left in shock, being the first time a video game was used as a concert break — an entertaining touch that showcased the band’s playfulness.

IV OF SPADES treated the Spaders with an intimate acoustic jamming session featuring unreleased tracks ‘Terminal’ and ‘Okay Lang Ba.’

The energy rose once again as IV OF SPADES launched into a set filled with fan favorites throughout their career. From newer tracks like ‘Tara’ and ‘Tangerine Boulevard’ to timeless classics such as ‘Bawat Kaluluwa’ and ‘Ilaw Sa Daan,’ the whole arena sang along to every word.
Another major highlight came when the band performed their solo hits together onstage. Blaster’s ‘Hayy,’ Zild’s ‘Medisina,’ and Unique’s ‘Sino’ were reimagined through IV OF SPADES’ collective sound—moments many fans had long dreamed of seeing live.

The night reached an emotional peak with ‘Mundo.’ Seven years since its release, the 2018 track proved it has truly stood the test of time, as thousands of voices sang every lyric in unison. It was a powerful reminder of IV OF SPADES’ impact on their fans.
Equally unforgettable was ‘Come Inside of My Heart,’ with Blaster sharing that it was their first time performing the song with Unique. The moment felt deeply personal — one where Spaders found answers in their hearts through music.

As the concert drew to a close, IV OF SPADES expressed heartfelt gratitude to their fans for patiently waiting and for loving them as if they never left. The band shared their hope to create even more memories moving forward, embracing this new chapter with renewed passion.
They concluded the night with their comeback hit ‘Aura,’ the biggest plot twist of all. Ending the first night of their back-to-back concert on a wave of nostalgia, IV OF SPADES delivered a stage that finally found their way back home.

Thank you, IV OF SPADES, for a night that celebrated life through music. This comeback made us complete, and this fresh start is only just beginning.
