Last January 23, the iconic Grammy-winning artist performed for one whole night in Manila which made a lot of Filipino fans go down memory lane with his “classic classic” hits and bop with his “future classic” songs”.

The show started with high energy as ‘Miss Independent’’ opened the show. The crowd immediately sang along to the 2008 hit! More of his classic hits, including ‘Because Of You’, ‘Sexy Love’, ‘One In A Million’, ‘Mad’, ‘Let Me Love You’ and the fan favorite ‘So Sick’ in which Ne-Yo exclaimed the song is already 16 years old! “You’ve been with me for 16 years.” Ne-Yo felt proud knowing that his fans have been with him for almost two decades! 

The singer recently released his new highly-anticipated album titled Self-Explanatory and had the chance to perform his more recent songs, which he refers to as “future classics,” in front of thousands of fans. Tracks like ‘You Got The Body’, ‘U 2 Luv’, and ‘Handle Me Gently’ were performed for the first time in Manila! 

In the show's second half, Ne-Yo is still full of power and continues to pump up the crowd! Before proceeding with his songs, Ne-Yo played songs from his fellow artists that he has contributed to - ‘Knock You Down’, ‘Take A Bow’, and ‘Irreplaceable’. He continued the show with more songs, including ‘Closer’, ‘Beautiful Monster’,’ Give Me Everything’ and closed with ‘Champagne Life’. Ne-Yo’s show was every millennial’s kind of party! The concert was filled with a nostalgic buzz. Indeed it left fans wanting more and an extreme PCD!
