After a successful return to Manila in 2023, American post-hardcore band Saosin once again gave Filipino fans a night to remember as they took over the Skydome, SM North EDSA last May 7 for a celebration of their 20th anniversary.

More than just a concert, the show became a nostalgic trip back to the golden era of emo and post-hardcore music. Longtime fans filled the Skydome, singing along to the songs that defined their youth and soundtracked their emo era in the 2000s. From the moment Cove, Beaul, Chris, Alex, and Phil stepped onstage, the energy was electric.
Saosin opened the night with a powerful set packed with fan favorites. Tracks like ‘I Can Tell,’ ‘Translating the Name,’ ‘It’s Far Better To Learn,’ and ‘Voices’ immediately set the tone, reminding everyone why the band remains one of the most influential acts two decades later.

The band also performed their latest single, ‘Starting Over Again,’ proving that despite the years, Saosin has not lost the signature sound and intensity that fans fell in love with.
Throughout the night, the crowd screamed every lyric, jumped to every breakdown, and turned the Skydome into a sea of emotion and chaos. The connection between the band and their Filipino fans was undeniable, with Saosin expressing their heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support they have received since the beginning of their career.

As the night came to a close, Saosin delivered two of their most iconic songs, ‘Seven Years’ and ‘You’re Not Alone.’ The emotional finale reminded everyone why the band continues to resonate with listeners through the years.
The concert became more than a celebration of music — it was a testament to the lasting bond between Saosin and their fans in the Philippines. Filled with raw emotion, deafening energy, and unforgettable moments, the night proved that Saosin’s impact on the rock scene remains as powerful as ever.

Thank you, Saosin, for continuing to define the spirit of rock and roll. We can’t wait to see you again!
