It’s been a jam-packed journey for Careless Music this year, following the addition of two new artists on their roster: Dancer, digital creative and now musician Issa Pressman, and hit actress Liza Soberano joining the collaborative team! 

Careless Music had their Trade Launch and Contract Signing last June 19 as they officially welcomed their newest talents, plus presented stunning performances by their artists. Aside from newcomers Issa Pressman and Liza Soberano, the label’s current roster consists of several artists including James Reid, Nadine, Massiah, Jolianne, Lesha, dance group A-Team and of course, their newest artists Issa Pressman and Liza Soberano.

James Reid gave a blow by blow on how Liza became a part of Careless, saying that she has always wanted to dabble in music and has now been given an opportunity to do so. However, acting is still her main focus as she wants to have her breakthrough as an actress in Los Angeles. James also shared how one becomes a Careless artist: it is solely James who usually approaches artists he sees potential in and convinces them to be a part of the creative collective.

As for Issa joining Careless, she always had an interest in music but never really made any songs. Until James got to listen firsthand to a song Issa made for fun titled “Monkey Business” and he saw her full potential as an artist. James and Issa got to talking and she was convinced to come on board at Careless, which is perfect for Issa since they both have been friends for a long time. Plus, knowing Issa’s eye for creativity, it’s safe to say this team definitely suits her best! Issa also mentioned how the team is helping her visions along the way, slowly figuring things out and giving her a chance to explore. 

Careless Music has not just been serving on the music side but in visuals too. Remember the intricate experience for Nadine’s Wildest Dreams visualizer? Well, we may be getting more of those from Careless in the future! James revealed the team has been brainstorming a lot and coming up with more out of the box ideas. 

The reaction for the growing Careless Music team has been nothing but praises and positive remarks, along with the excitement of fans! The future is looking bright for this label and James even revealed the plans they have for the rest of 2022 until early 2023: a Careless Mixtape featuring the full roster of artists to be released this year, followed by a Philippine tour at the end of 2022. They will also kick off 2023 with a stage at the anticipated Sinulog event, then a US and Europe tour in the first quarter. It’s going to be a wild and crazy time as Careless Music takes over the local and international scenes!
