American pop-punk band Against The Current (ATC) proved that ‘Legends Never Die’ as they rocked the SM North Skydome stage for the Manila stop of their “Nightmares & Daydreams 2023 World Tour” last October 8!
Hailing from New York, ATC started their humble career in 2011, quickly gaining a sizable following after posting covers of popular songs on YouTube. The band is currently composed of lead vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow, and drummer Will Ferri.
Their recent Manila show marked the band’s comeback to Philippine shores for the first time in five years, which is why it was much awaited by their loyal fans. When the lights dimmed, the spotlight shone, and the first few notes of ‘“good guy”’ were heard through the speakers, the crowd went absolutely crazy!
From then on, it was back-to-back-to-back high energy performances of Against The Current’s amazing songs. The setlist included ‘Wildfire,’ ‘again&again,’ ‘jump,’ ‘Strangers Again,’ ‘Personal,’ ‘Running With The Wild Things,’ ‘blindfolded,’ ‘silent stranger,’ ‘lullaby,’ ‘Paralyzed,’ ‘Another You (Another Way),’ ‘Roses,’ ‘Almost Forgot,’ ‘Chasing Ghosts,’ ‘Voices,’ ‘Gravity,’ ‘Wasteland,’ ‘Legends Never Die,’ and ‘weapon’— all of which had everyone with their hands up, jamming with the band!
Thank you for another wonderful night of music, Chrissy, Dan, and Will. Manifesting that your next PH show will come ‘Closer, Faster’!
Big thanks to Pulp Live World for making this event possible.
