Known for his Christian songs like “God Will Make A Way,” “I Offer My Life,” and “I Will Sing,” Don Moen is back in the Philippines for his 5-city concert tour.
A mix of families, nuns, priests, and people from different walks of life danced and sang along as Moen performed his greatest hits. His set list also included his other work like “God Is Good All the Time”, “He Never Sleeps”, “I Just Want to Be Where You Are,” and “Arise”
The show last night started with an emotional and moving song “Our Father” that made the crowd sing their hearts out.
Moen has been holding concerts in the Philippines for years and definitely knows how to please the Filipino crowd. The way he addressed the arena as a whole was so smooth! Thousands of worshippers from every walk of life gathered to hear him sing and he didn’t disappoint anyone.
The crowd sounded so beautiful when they sang along with the hit songs “Give Thanks,” “I Offer My Life,” “How Great Is Our God,” “God Will Make A Way,” and “Still.”
Alongside him, his dear friend Lenny LeBlanc entertained the audience with more pleasant and soulful tunes to celebrate God’s undying love. The cheery bosom buddies were more than happy to acknowledge couples in the crowd with LeBlanc’s original compositions “Falling” and “Treat Her Right.”
Don Moen is just as inspirational as his songs of worship. We were personally inspired when he shared how they never lost faith in God despite not blessing him and his wife a child for 12 years. He said they kept praying until their prayers were finally answered. And you know what they say when it rains, it pours. Moen happily revealed that today they have five gorgeous children.
Being the devoted pastor that he is, there were moments when he invited everyone to pray for the Philippines and the blessings God bestows to us. He also expressed his concern for the marriages that are going downhill and for people with difficult medical conditions.
He also told the crowd a story on how his song “Painter of the Sky” is inspired by the sunset on Manila Bay. How adorable, right?
He ended the concert with high spirits while the crowd sang along with “God Is Good All The Time” and “Celebrate, Jesus, Celebrate.”
Don Moen will be continuing his concert tour on July 6 at the Central Philippine University in Iloilo, July 8 at the University of Baguio, July 10 at the Laus Event Centre in San Fernando, Pampanga, and July 11 at the Santa Rosa Coliseum in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
